The politicians of the West as always are painting Russia as an aggressor here, their rhetoric and jealousy have always been hidden clearly in plain sight. They really hate the fact that President Putin has managed (through whatever means he could) to raise Russia from the ashes of the USSR era to the global Super-Power that it is now. Russia’s economy will always be a little bit volatile as they rely on gas and oil exports and the West knows this, and will always try (completely unsuccessfully in the past) to dictate to Russia how they can operate on the global markets. In short Russia needs the West to buy its oil and gas reserves to keep Russia’s economy going, and the West needs Russia’s reserves to make shit consumer products to keep the West’s economy going.

Playing the ‘School Yard Bully’ yet again the US and UK are calling for even more sanctions to be placed on the people of Russia in the vain hope they will oust President Putin from power, and install a more Western-Friendly alternative. Remember the US and the UK have always used these tactics where the Victim Country has huge reserves of oil, gas, coal, etc, but were always reluctant to do business with the US and UK. The US and UK sometimes escalated situations by arming the local militia of these countries inciting all out war. Countries such as Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, most of Central Africa, most of South America spring to mind. Did I miss anyone out? More than likely Yes.

The build up of military hardware on and around the Russian-Ukraine border has given these Western Leaders the perfect distraction from their own failures. The news channels are full of politicians shouting ‘Look over their people! Russia bad! Very bad! Don’t look over here, look over there! If you look over here you’ll see how crap I am!’ This is being played out every hour of every day over in the US as a distraction to the ruined economy of the US by ‘Granddad Biden’ and his team of carers, sorry administration. In the UK Bollock-Brained-Boris is screaming the same sentiments while he steps from Stepping-Stone to Stepping-Stone of political fuck-ups. Eventually one of those Stepping-Stones will tip over and throw him into the Cold River of Oblivion.

My guess is this:

  • Russia is sending troops to the border in an attempt to stop the conflict in Ukraine tipping over into Russia. President Putin knows the West will piss their pants at the large scale operations on Russia’s side of the border and call for sanctions, military action, and taking Russia off the West’s Christmas Card List by claiming he wants to invade.

  • The West predictably introduces more economic sanctions on the people and business’s of Russia. This bolsters President Putins’ position within his nation, and most of the civilised world, so he can then. . .

  • . . . stop exporting gas and oil to the West. The economies of the West crash. The people of the West wake up to their politician’s bullshit and demand they talk to President Putin, which President Putin agrees to wholeheartedly, he’ll even let the vanquished politicians stay in that shabby looking hotel just down the road from his Presidential Palace.

  • The volatile order of Global Politics resumes back to the uneasy alliances and dinner parties as before. Only now Russia is on the score card and they are letting everyone know it. They’ve won this round and have the trophies to show for it. The West on the other hand, with their bloody nose and shamed faces are left to stew in their own bile until the next chance of a conflict presents itself. Which shouldn’t be too long knowing the shit Career Politicians we can’t seem to get rid of!
